Robert graduated in 1998 from the world renowned European School of Osteopathy (ESO) in Maidstone, Kent. Having been a professional cricket coach and co-author of two books about teaching cricket he soon began teaching osteopathy. After four years as a tutor in the school clinic and lecturing both in the UK and in Europe he became the Head of the ESO Teaching Clinic in 2003.
After leaving the senior management post in 2010 Robert embarked upon a Post Graduate Certificate in Higher Education course at the University of Greenwich which focused heavily on course design and quality assurance procedures. Following the course he was made a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA). Later that year he became a Professional Reviewer for the Quality Assurance Agency (QAA). The QAA conduct reviews on Osteopathic Education Institutions (OEIs) in the United Kingdom for the profession’s regulatory body, the General Osteopathic Council (GOsC).
