I am a UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) therapist in training in integrative psychotherapy at the Welsh Psychotherapy Partnership (WPP). I offer low-cost therapy on a long or short term basis through WPP's Affordable Therapy Service. I provide a safe, confidential and compassionate space in which together we explore the issues you bring to therapy; my approach is informed by several psychotherapeutic models to meet the needs, intentions, circumstances, and histories of individual clients.
I am in my third year of training at Welsh Psychotherapy Partnership (WPP), taking the Postgraduate Advanced Diploma in Integrative Psychotherapy, leading to United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) registration. I am also working towards National Counselling Society (NCS) accreditation.
I have a background of working with individuals and groups in Higher Education, with 25 years of experience in research and teaching. Having experienced how powerful psychotherapy can be in healing issues that were rooted in my past and helping me to become a happier and more authentic version of myself, I decided to retrain as an integrative therapist.
I am a member of WPP, a trainee member of the UKCP, and a student member of the United Kingdom Association for Psychotherapy Integration (UKAPI). I receive regular clinical supervision from a senior supervisor. I abide by WPP's Code of Ethics and Professional Practice for Trainees, Trainers and Supervisors and UKCP's Ethical Principles and Code of Professional Conduct. I have professional indemnity insurance.
