Gledhill Solicitors specialise in mental health law, representing clients who are detained in hospital under the Mental Health Act. We are based in Brighton, Sussex but represent clients all over the South East. Our staff currently represent clients in East and West Sussex, Hampshire, Isle of Wight, Southampton, Portsmouth, Kent, London, Essex, Bedfordshire and East Anglia. We pride ourselves on being 'client centred'. This simply means we take our client's point of view seriously and try our best to respond to their needs with a personal approach at a time that we know can be extremely distressing and frightening.

We hold a contract with The Legal Aid Agency and we are approved by the Solicitors Regulation Authority to provide mental health legal advice. Our team of experienced and dedicated lawyers are able to attend clients at very short notice to provide representation at Mental Health Tribunals and Hospital Managers hearings.
