Fulwood Osteopaths

Fionnuala has over ten years experience in osteopathy, both in private practice and NHS clinics. Her first degree was in Physiology, she also qualified as a teacher and worked in postgraduate research in Neuroscience before embarking on a career in IT. She made a career change by taking a degree in Osteopathy to return to her original fascination with the human body and movement.

In my approach to osteopathy, I place a lot of emphasis on finding ways you can help yourself by enhancing your body awareness. This may involve becoming more aware of your posture, maybe changing how you do some things and maybe some form of exercise if this suits you. My aim is to help you get back on your feet as soon as possible. This means endeavouring to resolve the underlying cause of your symptoms, giving you a better understanding of the reasons behind the problem and therefore helping you to avoid or minimise recurrences.
