In 2002, Doug Hyde was a young artist painting pictures for his family and friends in his spare time but by 2005, he was named as the UK's best selling published artist. Doug's extraordinary rise from virtual unknown to the most popular living artist in the UK has been meteoric. Yet, despite his phenomenal success, he has never lost touch with the realities of life and has continued to produce work based around his love for his family, his unfailing optimism and his sheer enthusiasm for life.

Located on Sheaf Street Daventry, Evergreen Art Café is not your average art gallery! By combining our love for fine art together with a passion for great coffee and delicious locally sourced food, we have created a unique way of enjoying art that is accessible to everyone. As an independent gallery we work in partnership with top publishers to select the UK's leading artists and displaying a selection of their latest work within the gallery.

We also showcase an even more extensive fine art range on this website. We would love to see you in the gallery so you can enjoy a great coffee, lunch or afternoon tea and browse the art on display at your leisure. If you can't make it in to the gallery, you can buy art securely online or even reserve your art selection and enjoy a home consultation to view them on your wall at home before you buy!
