Dr Hawkins' qualifications are Bachelor of Arts with Honours in Psychology, University of Liverpool, 1995; Doctor of Clinical Psychology, University of Teesside, 2003.
As part of this role she compiled reports and witness testimony to Mental Health Review Tribunals. In addition she ran a part-time private practice from 2004-2008 accepting referrals from a range of sources including GP's and insurance companies.
