By this he meant that each part of the body and, in turn, each of its systems, is intimately connected to every other part and every other system. This view of the body made stark contrast to the way in which established medical science was concerntrating on particular diseases and treating the symptoms that manifested. On a more pratical level, Osteopathy is based on the principal that structure governs function. That is, the body can only function at optimum levels if it is structually sound.

I graduated from the British School of Osteopathy (London) in 1998 after completing a four year honourary degree course. I then spent my first few years working as an associate for two established Osteopathic practices in London. As an associate, I was fortunate to benefit from excellent tuition in these two busy private practices. The experience I gained from my time spent working there has proved invaluable.
