Wainwright Therapy Centre

The building from which the centre operates dates from around 1870. It was a typical Victorian residence until the mid 1940s when Mrs Margaret Brougham started the first Osteopathic practice. In 1950, 32 year-old Osteopath David Wainwright established the present practice with the help of his wife Elizabeth Joy. David enjoyed what he calls "more than 50 glorious years as an Osteopath" and devoted himself to continual patient care, providing an exemplary and outstanding service to his profession.

The home of Sheffield Osteopathy, which is conveniently located close to the city centre in the leafy suburb of Nether Edge. The centre is a family business and has been caring for the people of South Yorkshire since the 1950s. You will find all our therapists and staff; warm, friendly and caring.
