Beane Wass & Box

The current firm was established by the amalgamation of Beane & Wass with Box Commercial in September 2000. Few will now remember the name of our predecessors Wright and Ward, Estate Agents and Auctioneers which was established by David Wass's father in Ipswich around 1900. On 31 March 2014 Richard Bertram acquired the business and David Wass now acts as a consultant.

Richard qualified as a Chartered Surveyor in 1985 and has worked in London for various private practices. He moved to Suffolk in 1995 and has worked for several well-known property agents/surveyors including most recently Fenn Wright, having previously been with Bidwells.

Richard has a wide range of property related experience including property management, valuations, rent reviews and lease renewals. He is also able to act as sales or letting agent and has experience of Compulsory Purchase, rating and Arbitration/Court appearances.
