I hope I can help you to improve, whether that means reduced pain, better sporting performance or just a better quality of life.
When I was younger I trained for wrestling and powerlifting and, as you might expect, in both these sports injuries can occur. The worst injury I had was a herniated disk in my lower back, this stopped me training properly for around a year and caused a lot of pain. I followed the osteopath's advice, as well as reading all I could about back rehab and used the time out of the gym to do rehabilitation work and light weight training. I went on afterwards to squat and deadlift over 600 lbs a year or so later, which I considered successful rehab!
Once I qualified as a personal trainer and then massage therapist, I became more knowledgeable about the body and improved my training significantly, but still felt there was something missing in my approach.
