Young Ones Childminding

Hi there my name is Paul. I am a family man with three beautiful children and nineteen years experience working in social care, and this is a brief explanation of why I became a registered childminder.

I have worked in a variety of care settings over the years (such as Yorkhill Hospital in the short stay ward where I worked for two years), and still work in social care just now. I am a patient and caring individual and I get a lot out of caring for and supporting those I am responsible for. As it is not just a career for me, but a real pleasure to be allowed to have such a valuable and responsible opportunity to enhance someone's life.

When my third son was born my wife became unwell, so I gave up the job that I had at that time to help her and also raise my son by being a stay at home Dad. When my wife went back to work I continued to support and raise him throughout the week, but worked part time as a support worker at the weekend.
