My passion for yoga began when I attended Hatha yoga classes at Virgin Active in Preston and was taught by Brenda Waddington, She's an excellent Hatha yoga teacher, providing her students with the skills to develop their yoga practice fully yet safely.
Through a combination of asana (physical posture work), awareness of breath and guided relaxation, yoga can relieve the stresses of the week leaving you fresh and full of energy to enjoy the weekend.
I've been fortunate to have received tuition from some very talented yoga teachers. In my classes, I hope to pass on some of the knowledge I've gained and importantly, I'd also like to share my enthusiasm and passion for a discipline which I feel is just as beneficial today as it was when it was first mentioned in the ancient yogic texts some 3,000 years ago.
