Yoga is accessible to everyone and anyone, regardless of physical limitations or other difficulties. Where difficulties do exist, be they physical, mental or emotional; - beginning to practice yoga can help to overcome them. Yoga can keep the body strong and fit for the physical work of life (I myself work as a gardener).
I discovered yoga nearly 30 years ago, and fell in love with it.
Ten years ago I signed up for a class called "Yoga of the Heart" with Sue Peggs; which sounded exactly what I was looking for. And it was! After the first class I signed up for teacher training with the Inner Yoga Trust. I cant really imagine where I would be if I hadn't. Yoga practice contributes greatly to any sanity I possess, and enables me to continue to do the physically demanding work that I love. It also enables me to connect with life on a deeper level - though I am aware that will sound flaky to some. Maybe you just want to get a little fitter, a little more flexible, or learn to relax more easily.
