Yeovil Chiropractic Clinic was established in 1987 and purchased by Antoinette Young in 1992. Within six years, the clinic had outgrown its Preston Road premises and relocated to a former guest house in Sherborne Road where the owners' flat and nine guest rooms provided the necessary room for expansion into a major health clinic.
The additional room also enabled Antoinette's eldest son, Martin, to join the practice along with Lisa Kirk-Horrell, a Tisserand-trained aromatherapist and remedial masseuse.
1999 also witnessed the opening of a second clinic in a converted Victorian warehouse in Victoria Mews, Crewkerne. The additional patient capacity soon necessitated additional chiropractic support, and David Palmer joined the team in 2001, like Martin, splitting his time between the two different practices.
