Just what we were looking for - a very comfortable night's stay for ourselves and 2 dogs in the area we wanted. The welcome was warm and friendly and Tony and Su were very helpful in suggesting a venue and booking our evening meal. The room was well equipped with all we required and breakfast was delicious! Wortley Cottage Guest House is in the centre of the small, historic South Yorkshire village of Wortley.

We are next door to the Post Office, village shop, Countess Tea Room, Farm and Flower Shop, and The Wortley Arms, which has an excellent reputation for fine dining. Since the B & B changed hands in June 2009, the current owners have worked hard to refurbish and update the Guest rooms to a pleasant and comfortable standard. The three guest rooms (1 twin & 2 double) have ensuite facilities, TV and DABradio, and a hospitality tray.
