Following on from our BIG ART and Size Matters Exhibitions, FULL CIRCLE is the third in our call out series to artists stipulating either size or shapes rather than subject matter. Using various mediums artists have used the format of the circle to create, frame and challenge. We usually see art in rectangles, will it alter our concept of what art is as the viewer to see work in the round? Does art in circles makes us feel more at ease or are we always looking for the flat edge? We look forward to you joining us for what will be another conceptual show.
COLOUR, TEXTURE, SUBJECT MATTER - these few words give an insight to the viewer of what to expect at this thought provoking exhibition. Images detailing the darkest moments of life and images of inspiration, art made with determination allowing the paint tell the story.
Our Café and Shop are open Monday to Saturday 9.30am - 4pm for visitors and non visitors to the museum. Take advantage of a mid moring latte, afternoon glass of wine and check out our latest arrivals in our shop and the handmade glass produced in house by our glass artists. Entrance to cafe, shop and exhibitions is free.
