Wimborne First Kindergarten

Wimborne First Kindergarten is situated on the Wimborne First School campus, opposite the main school, within the boundaries of the school playing field. The Kindergarten is self-contained and caters for children from the age of 2 years 9 months until they enter school.

The Kindergarten is bright, airy, and colourful with a carpeted area suitable for construction toys, jigsaws and drawing. There is a non-slip creative area for painting, gluing, sand and water play. We also have an area for role play and a separate quiet room for reading books and story telling. The children have the opportunity to cook every week and during the morning they are offered a healthy snack with milk or water to drink. The children have access to our fenced play area via double doors, which enables them to have continual access to outdoor activities. This is always with adult supervision.
