A service dedicated to catering for disabled and older people across the East Herts area. Our vehicles are fully licensed and insured and were registered new in September 2011 and September 2013 respectively. They are able to comfortably take 4 seated passengers or 2 seated passengers together with a wheelchair passenger. This person remains in their wheelchair throughout the journey and is safely secured within the vehicle during transportation.
Hello, we are Pete Hill and Julia Morrell, Partners of Wheelchair Wizard Transport. We are qualified private hire, drivers, having passed our practical and knowledge tests to become licenced through Broxbourne Borough Council. The original idea for Wheelchair Wizard came after Pete and his sister spent the whole morning on the phone and internet unsuccessfully trying to book a wheelchair taxi for their mother.
Pete first completed three years working in Adult Care Services and has a real personal interest in this area. Julia has spent fifteen years as a qualified teacher and has seen equality and diversity issues with her own students throughout her career leading to a quest to improve transportation for disabled people. Our aim is to offer a friendly but efficient service at a competitive price. Sit back, relax and enjoy the trip!
