This Practice was set up in the summer of 1997 by Mr Brown. During his career Mr Brown has opened four Dental Practices. The first was opened in March 1990 in Stockton; this was followed in 1993 with a second in Stokesley in North Yorkshire. In 1997 he opened this Practice in West Auckland, then in February 2000 he opened a Practice in Middleton St George, Darlington. Partly due to the national shortage of dentists Mr Brown decided to concentrate on one surgery which would serve the local community to a high standard. During 2001 the Practice was awarded the Good Practice Scheme award by the British Dental Association and has continued since then to be a part of this. During the later part of 2004 the Practice was awarded the highly recognised award of Investors in People. The Practice has since achieved Investors in People in 2007 and again in July 2010. This was as a result of a lot of hard work on behalf of our staff.
