Tim Wells (aka Welly) is a true "Sandgrownun'", born and bred on the Fylde Coast in Lytham St. Anne's, Lancashire. He was educated at the local Grammar school, King Edward's VII where he developed a passion for rugby and art. Under parental pressure to get a "proper profession", he went on to study General Practice Surveying at Liverpool Polytechnic until gaining employment as a residential surveyor working in his local area until the Credit Crunch in 2008.
Welly specialises in live caricatures for parties, weddings, corporate events and festivals. He also uses your photographs to create one-of-a-kind gift caricatures for special occasions, such as birthdays, anniversaries, Christmas or retirements. Having worked at both Alton Towers and Blackpool Central Pier, Welly is no newcomer to the art of caricaturing.
His unique cartoon style is simultaneously flattering and humorous, ensuring everyone is entertained without being cruel. Welly is based at his home studio in Lytham St Anne's (near Blackpool), covering Lancashire and the surrounding areas. Call for details and to discuss your requirements.
