Whatever your standard or aspirations I can help you to learn to play the piano. If you want to study for examinations I can take you up to Piano Grade 8 and Theory up to Grade 5 (GCSE standard). I use the Associated Board Examinations which are accepted as the Gold Standard for music examinations.
I have been teaching piano to children and adults for some 25 years both in schools and in private practice, regularly preparing pupils for examinations with the Associated Board (Prep Test up to Grade 8) in both Piano and Theory. I am also happy to help pupils with their GCSE Music work as many of them find that they need extra tuition on top of their school curriculum work.
Trained at the Royal College of Music, having previously been a Junior Exhibitioner at Trinity College of Music as well as the winner of the Silver Medal for the Highest Mark of the Year with the London College of Music two years running in Grades 7 & 8, I then went on to specialise in accompanying musicians of all types but most especially singers.
