We came to discover CKD, as many people do, simply looking for something locally to help boost our 8yr old Son’s self-esteem, following a period of school bullying. However, very soon after meeting Master Nigel Brophy it became obvious that the CKD system was perfect as an activity for our whole family. Once we started to feel the many benefits, we took an interest in how we could help in promoting this amazing art to more people. Following a move to the south coast, Derek took the decision to open his first classes in Winchester, during late 2004. Now, more than a decade later, we are proud to say that growth has led to over 15 locations, with around 40 hours of class time available throughout the week.
