W M Couper

Coupers was established in 1933 by Mike Couper. Coupers have a long history of motor racing at Brooklands and also participating in the Monte Carlo Rally in the 1930s, 40s and 50s. Many mementos and photos are on display in the showroom. We really love our cars! We have represented many manufacturers from Rolls Royce, Bentley, British Leyland and most recently Honda, Fiat, Alfa Romeo (and we still offer a full specialist service on these marques) through to the present day where we are authorised dealers for Hyundai (since 1992) and Seat (since 2003) for Hertfordshire.

We offer a full range of services with sales, service, parts and bodyshop all on one site. The Catherine Street location has been completely refurbished recently with a 14 car showroom, a used car display of 70, 8 bay workshop with MOT, bodyshop with the latest technology and a large parts department. Coupers was purchased by Don Kendall, now Chairman, in 1978 and is run by his son Paul Kendall who is the Managing Director.
