VW Black Betty Wedding Campervan

Black Betty wedding campervan established in 2010 is a bespoke service based in Exeter covering all of Devon & parts of Cornwall, Somerset and Dorset all year round. We cater for weddings, civil partnerships and special occasions. We are able to transport up to 5 passengers in any single journey. Multiple trips are possible for weddings and occasions depending on the distance of travel. We always make sure there is time for photographs before, during and after. EST 2010

1965 – On 26th of March, 1965 Betty rolled out of the VW showroom at Bletchley, Milton Keynes with a Mr Leslie Peerless behind the wheel. Betty would remain with the Peerless family for 33 years. No doubt, the Van had a special role in creating many magic holiday memories for this family.

Originally, Betty was an 11 Window Combi van in Sea Blue with a White top. After being converted by Canterbury Ltd of Essex into the Pitt Open Plan Camper Van, Betty transformed into the quintessential holiday vehicle, taking the Peerless family to Spain every year for a few weeks of fun and sunshine. Each year, Betty would make the trip with the entire family, their luggage and a speedboat in tow.
