For budding young violinists, there is the option of hiring an instrument to get you started. Currently, Laura has instruments from 1/8 size to full size available to rent. If you are interested in hiring an instrument, please ask about the options available to you.
Laura is a full time teacher of violin, viola, piano and music theory based near Grantham, Lincolnshire. She has a Postgraduate Diploma in Performance from the Royal Northern College of Music in violin and holds a Licentiate of the Royal Schools of Music in Violin Performance. She is also a fully qualified primary teacher and a member of the European String Teachers Association.
Pupils learn in a supportive and positive environment with 1:1 lessons and opportunities for group and chamber ensemble playing. Pupils perform three concerts per year and have workshops with visiting tutors in the Easter, Summer and Christmas holidays. Lessons are tailored to meet the needs of the pupil. They will be prepared for ABRSM exams and orchestral auditions should they wish to take them.
