Vicarage Farm Holiday Cottages

Our newly refurbished lockable indoor bike store has eight wall-mounted individual cycle racks plus additional floor space for bike storage. Whether you’re serious cyclists on a biking holiday or just want to bring the family bikes with you for a tootle on the Monsal Trail, you can rest easy knowing everything is stored safely away. We also have bike washing facilities and a tire pump.

All of the properties are no-smoking. Each cottage has an independent central heating and hot water system run by combi-boiler, all of which are serviced annually, to ensure an immediate and ready supply of hot water. Each property has an electric oven, hob and microwave oven. All cottages are equipped with fridge freezers, Freeview television, DVD players and radio/CD players. Prince’s Seat can cater for groups and/or larger families. You will find each property fully prepared when you arrive with beds made and towels provided, including tea towels and bath mats.

The gardens provide ample opportunity to relax and enjoy nature at its best, with seats and benches dotted around in secluded corners and looking out over fields and dales. There is a barbeque stand and large patio area for outdoor cooking and dining. At the end of the garden, there is a children’s play area with swings, slide and picnic table. The beautiful private woodland supports varied fauna and flora, and you are welcome to wander or play there.

The large games room is equipped with full-size table tennis, pool and football tables. For younger guests, there is a Wendy House and a good range of toys and games. We have a selection of tennis and table tennis equipment available which you are welcome to borrow. Tennis and table tennis balls are provided.
