Vale Farmhouse provides a home from home holiday for your dog. We don't have kennels, just cosy rooms furnished with sofas so that you know your dog is relaxed and happy in a home environment whilst you enjoy your holiday. There is lots of space for exercise and play time with other dogs. Of course we also like to make sure the dogs have plenty of attention, and cuddles are free!
There is still much work to do at the new farm, but the animals are all safely settled in and happy. Chelsea is our apprentice studying for her Animal Care qualification at Pershore College. She has a natural affinity with the dogs and loves spending time with them giving as much tlc as she can. Her own childhood pet Levi is a gorgeous Springer Spaniel / Labrador mix. Clare has been with us since May of 2014. Mum to 3 year old Eben, Clare has taken a change in career direction from teaching and has a keen interest in developing enrichment ideas to help keep the dogs entertained and happy whilst they are staying with us.
Iris works part time helping us to care for the dogs and our horses. When our planned livery yard is up and running (hopefully in the not too distant future) Iris will be our yard manager. We have also brought on 18 pigs - a mixture of Gloucester Old Spots and Saddlebacks. Though we say it ourselves, our lamb, pork, bacon, ham, sausages and faggots are amazing.
