From January 1982 until March 2009 Simon ran the mortgage broking business of Chase De Vere until after 27 years the business was extinguished by the effects of the 2008/9 recession and its subsequent impact on the UK mortgage market. Simon has been a well known mortgage market commentator in the written, broadcast and electronic media for well over 35 years and is a familiar face and voice to the mortgage buying public.
