I have over 30 years experience working professionally with adults, children of all ages, mums, dads, families, and groups in a variety of statutory and voluntary settings including mental health, paediatric, child protection, child guidance, hospital, hospice, school and bereavement service teams.

I have developed psychological services, and been responsible for their delivery, in a hospice and a large children's grief support service. I have developed and taught a university validated training course in this field.

As a Recognised Doula and Licensed Birth Companion, I am available as a birthing companion and to offer support to parents and babies in the first few weeks after the birth. This has developed both out of my interest all my professional life in helping parents and small children / babies, and also out of my experience as a mother within my own family.
