Truly Scrumptious (Oxford) is owned and managed by Jamie Forbes & Michele McCartney. We are food geeks and have been for all of our adult lives. In fact, food (or more specifically: working in the food business) is what brought us together in the first place. For us, food is one of THE pleasures of life. We think eating should be a convivial, pleasurable, sensory experience, and we like nothing more than seeing people sitting around a table talking, sharing food, tasting & enjoying different dishes.

We enjoy experimenting and playing with food and spend much of our time doing just that. Our philosophy & style are along the lines of Jamie Oliver or Ottolenghi, resulting in food that is big on flavour & colour, low on fuss, and in which good quality ingredients speak for themselves.
