Ed Ives-Wara aka DJ TruBeats started his career as DJ hobby back in 2003. In 2006 TruBeats Discos was formed offering affordable discos to customers looking for a fun and energetic atmosphere. After running only discos for the first four years it was quickly recognised that it wasn't just music that was being played but an entertainment experience was taking place. In 2010 TruBeats Disco's changed the company name to TruBeats Entertainment and this opened up other avenues including comparing.

DJ TruBeats not only provides children's parties, adult parties and weddings but actually runs and hosts local events particularly with charity organisations such as Basingstoke Young Carers with the most recent one being the Entertainment Afternoon (2014) featuring Steve Hewlett the Britain's Got Talent Finalist and in 2012 Carers Got Talent which featured lots of young people's talent with feature upcoming artists KTS (Kiss The Sky).
