Born in 1964 I grew up in Bedfordshire with a love of art from an early age. I moved to Dorset in 1985 and experimented with many forms of art until finally deciding that my ideal was working with acrylic. After moving to Swanage in 2009 I was encouraged by my late father to once again put paint to canvas and fulfil my dreams. In 2013 I started painting mystical fairy scenes but my attention soon turned to the sea and the land beyond. I have since been lucky enough to combine both of my passions, playing golf and painting. The Isle of Purbeck is a beautiful golf course and has been a pure pleasure to paint.
