Towngate Clinic

The Towngate Clinic, established in 1988 by Sue Keady, is a multi-disciplinary practice offering a range of holistic therapies. We are a group of therapists dedicated to helping people back on the road to good health. The holistic approach to health takes into account the needs of the whole person: body, mind and emotions. Treatment encourages healing to take place on all these levels.Our aim is to create a relaxed, safe, peaceful and supportive space for patients thus encouraging healing to take place. We feel it is very important to empower health in our patients. As well as receiving appropriate treatment patients are given tools, which enable them to make the necessary lifestyle changes to prevent the problem reoccurring. This may be advice on posture, diet or exercise. The symptoms of ill health are often a message from our body/mind to slow down or look at some part of our life that is not serving us very well. Relaxation or visualisation techniques are sometimes given to promote a positive mental attitude towards health.
