Three Little Birds Childminding

I am excited at the prospect of caring for other children and welcoming them into our home. I am passionate about the Early Years and believe that young children should be given the opportunity to explore, discover and learn through play. Whilst children do learn best through play I will ensure that there is a healthy balance of child-initiated learning as well as adult-directed learning.

I have always thoroughly enjoyed working with children. Enhancing their development and learning has been my purpose and passion. I completed a three year teaching degree at the University of Surrey Roehampton with my subject specialism in Early Childhood Development. I was privileged to work in a school for nine years which gained Ofsted Outstanding in all their inspections. Whilst at the school I worked mostly in the Early Years (3-5 year olds) but was fortunate to expand my horizons and taught in Keystage 1 (6-7 year olds).
