So why the name…well Thomas is our family surname, and the 2...well...Lincoln was our second coffee shop and the name has stuck since. Thomas Tea Rooms was founded in 2002 in Newark. The company quickly developed, and with new prospects on the horizon Thomas2 was launched in 2007. Regretably due to Lincoln being so popular this was closed in 2012.
Always striving to be a little different from our competitors we aim to offer a unique coffee shop experience with our own exclusive coffee blend, waitress service, an ever-changing menu, and of course friendly staff.We like to treat all our catering clients as individuals regardless of the business or occasion, we can offer bespoke packages as well as what is listed on our site. As for our cakes they are always homemade and baked on our premises using traditional recipes.What you will find with us is a personal service that can accommodate for any event, professionally and full of quality!All our staff are fully trained. Our chefs have extensive food qualifications and our fronts of house are trained baristas.We are also very proud of our 5 stars food hygiene award that we have maintained since opening from City of Lincoln.
