The Vale Opticians

There as been an opticians presence in Boroughbridge for approximately 15 years. Originally called Malyn Opticians, it was purchased in 2006 and renamed M Procter Opticians. The new proprietors are Kate and David Long, a husband and wife team who purchased the practice from Mike Procter in December 2010 and who had both worked in the practice for five years prior to the take over. We have over twenty year's optical experience between us and strongly believe in the Independent practice model for opticians.

All our staff are fully qualified for the roles they fill in the practice, which, unfortunately, is not an industry standard. They will give you personally- tailored advice that is not influenced by manufacturer discounts.
