The Place

Our shop, The Place, is situated in the charming cobbled Dam Street near Lichfield Cathedral in Staffordshire. We also have a unique studio workshop called Lime Place, offering crafting workshops and classes, which is located on a private estate on the outskirts of Barton-Under-Needwood.

We sell a huge range of fabric (especially quilting), sewing machines, haberdashery and quilting accessories, craft and card making supplies, scrapbooking items, lovingly restored furniture, textile products and handmade gifts from local 'designer makers' and also well known designers. The Place is also the local outlet for a number of beautiful, well known brands such as East of India and Gisela Graham.

We provide a wide variety of crafting workshops and classes aimed at everyone from beginners to professionals! Our classes are held at The Place and Lime Place and are managed by qualified, experienced and talented tutors who are 'true crafters' and love to pass on their skills and knowledge.
