The Pines Hotel has been privately owned and managed since 1963. It was purchased by Mrs. Duffin's parents for their retirement from farming and the start of a new venture for Martin and Betty Duffin. Over the years the original victorian house and the Dixon Suite have been extended and upgraded. The last big alteration was completed April 2005, when the Dixon Suite was rebuilt and can now seat 300 for a cabaret show which we specialise in.

The Dixon Suite is a large venue purposely built for private functions. It is used most weekends in the summer for weddings, functions and cabarets, using our award winning gardens as the perfect backdrop for the bride & groom's keepsake photographs. In December 1997 the conservatory was added, adjacent to the restaurant. This area is now used for light bites or a wedding reception area. We have 35 bedrooms including a Bridal Suite.
