Locally known as "The Black" The Mount Pleasant Inn is steeped in history. Its name is attributed to its links with the Black Lion Sidings, which once controlled the endless stream of coal leaving Merthyr Vale Colliery. Now the valley has returned to its former beauty we can offer an array of attractions for all types of guests. Facilities include: fully licensed bar, dining room, lounge and beer garden with panoramic views.
