This is why I provide a settling in period and have a daily routine so the children know what to expect, which gives the children security and I treat each child as an individual, tending to their needs on an individual basis. This brings out their full potential both mentally and physically. Most importantly I want to make them feel welcome and as happy as I can within the environment I provide.
I have a range of toys, equipment and resources for all ages including role play, creative, books, tactile, singing, construction and small world to encourage play in planned and unplanned activities within a happy atmosphere. Activities are updated to suit the needs of all children. We also have a large back garden that is secure and we have a variety of outdoor toys to suit different ages.
I take the children to local parks, farms, woodland, libraries, playgroups and other local events as well as trips further afield. This gives children opportunities for new learning and promotes awareness of the local communities.
