Leigh Wesley Preschool is located on the ground floor of Wesley Methodist Church which is situated in the heart of the local community in Elm Road. We are registered and inspected by Ofsted with an overall rating of Good. We offer learning through play in a stimulating environment and support all of our children with their transition to school, offering them activities which support their independence and self-esteem.

Leigh Wesley Preschool has close relationships with all of our local schools into which our children will feed. The preschool is privately owned by Karen Barnes-Austin, who has been involved in preschool settings within the Leigh area for a number of years. We offer sessional care for children aged 2.5 years to 5 years old and our intake is 25 children per session with a high ratio of staff. We have a large indoor play area and free-flow to an outside area. With direct access to North Street School we are able to make use of their play area and equipment on a regular basis.
