When I was 13 I didn't choose Art as a GCSE, so by the time I decided I'd like to have a creative career it was too late! After my A Levels (Business and English if you're interested) I got out into the world of work and after a couple of false starts in Estate Agency and Hotels, at 19 I got a job in a Creative Agency! Unfortunately in 2005 the agency I worked for went into liquidation and I was made redundant! I've heard many people over the years talking about how redundancy seemed like the end of the world, but actually it was a beginning and that's how it was for me!
A colleague and I decided we would 'go it alone' and we set up Dusza. The agency grew and 6 years later it was a thriving business with a large proportion of our work coming from the digital markets - CMS websites, ecommerce and CRMs. We had clients throughout the UK, staff, offices etc, but my personal life had changed too.
