The Hunter Gallery has moved from Long Melford to Bury St Edmunds, 31 Angel Hill - between The Abbey Gardens and St. Edmundsbury Cathedral. We exhibit well known local artists from Suffolk, Norfolk and Essex alongside some of the UK's most respected creators of paintings, sculpture and furniture. We specialise in art for the home in a wide range of styles and media with something to suit all tastes and budgets.
The Hunter Gallery opened in 2001 and has always prided itself on the high standard of work from a wide variety of artists, sculptors and furniture makers - there is something here to suit all tastes. Camilla Rodwell, who founded the gallery handed over the reins to Paul and Jacqueline Foster in 2016 who moved it from Long Melford to Bury St Edmunds at the end of 2017.Bury St Edmunds is a historic gem at the heart of Suffolk- home to the county’s only cathedral, St Edmundsbury Cathedral and the ancient Abbey Gardens. The town is bustling with fantastic shops and an amazing selection of restaurants.
