The Elms is the private day Nursery & Junior School to Trent College. We are an independent Nursery and Junior school in Nottingham with around 400 girls and boys, aged 0 to 11. Through first class teaching, excellent pastoral care and extra-curricular opportunities, we aim to meet your highest expectations of quality education for your child.
The size and shape of our school is a clear testament to the high esteem in which our parents and the wider community regard The Elms. Our focus is very much on the individual child, recognising their talents and interests, and working with parents to release this potential within the context of a caring and responsible school community.

Our recent ISI inspection report rated us as one of the most successful schools nationally. Teaching and Learning, Pupil Progress, Attitudes to Work, Leadership and Management were all found to be excellent.
