The Disabled People's Electronic Village Hall (DP-EVH) is an I.T. training organisation delivering learning to disabled and disadvantaged adults throughout West Yorkshire. Many of our students use computers to benefit themselves, learn new things, improve their employment opportunities or just to come in and socialise. We are a registered charity and have been in operation for over 19 years, originally working out of the Walsh Building in Dewsbury.
We are now situated in Dewsbury Town Hall, where we occupy several offices on the ground floor including two training rooms. Here we run Information and Communication Technology (ICT) courses at a pace to suit the learner and which fit a wide range of needs - from the recreational, to those wanting to use ICT accredited qualifications to get back to work.
