Our company is based in Whitstable in Kent, we are a small team of professionals committed to delivering the best quality products and services to our clients. The Contemporary Fencing Company was formed by Friends Dominic Brice (Garden Designer) and David Head (Carpenter and Joiner) because of the lack of modern fencing available to buy in the UK.
During his many years as a successful garden designer Dominic designed many original and exicting gardens. He often included bespoke outdoor joinery within these designs including cedar slatted fences. Having David on hand to turn these designs into reality made them a formidable team. Their first incarnation of a slatted cedar fence was in a BALI award winning garden in Sevenoaks. Pictures of this fence are in our Gallery. Because this garden recieved a lot of media coverage the fencing was widely viewed. We recieved many phone calls enquiring about our fencing. At this stage it was not a product and was mostly made on site.
