The Change Agency offers early years consultancy provided by Gillian Kitchen. We provide support, training, coaching and mentoring to childcare settings to help you improve your provision. It’s not just about preparation for Ofsted inspection. It’s about providing the best possible provision for the children and families you work with. However, preparation for your early years inspection is a key factor in becoming a successful nursery. What will happen at your nursery when Ofsted comes calling next time?

Prior to establishing the Change Agency, Gillian worked for over 20 years at senior management level in the field of early years and childcare. As a consultant for a large multi-national company supporting the development of a government initiative for Children’s Centres. Most recently as an early years inspector working for Prospects on behalf of Ofsted. Currently she is an associate trainer with the NDNA and an early years consultant working with some of the leading nursery providers in the UK. She has helped to drive high standards of quality and has implemented organisational change for a number of services. Gillian has an MA in Management, a social work qualification, NNEB and is qualified in personal, leadership and executive coaching and mentoring and trained to inspect early years settings under the Common Inspection Framework. She brings energy, passion and insight to support those she works with to help to gain a better understanding of themselves, in both their professional and personal lives.
