It is the business objective of the Chair and Sofa Company to provide services of the highest quality and in compliance with the customer specified requirements. As a young man, Darrell studied both traditional and modern upholstery techniques at High Wycombe College. He began his career at his father’s large furniture and upholstery company in Reading — developing skills and building knowledge of all aspects of the business — and then went to set up the company’s re-upholstery division in Birmingham. He then started his own business, converting the cloth interiors of new Jaguars, Porsches and Mercedes to leather, and restoring vintage car trimmings
