The Body Clinic

Karen Norton established The Body Clinic in 1985 after qualifying from The Yorkshire College of Beauty Therapy in Leeds, winning an award for the most promising Beauty Therapist of the year presented by Yorkshire Television. Initially operating as a mobile therapist in Wakefield, Pontefract, Castleford and Leeds.In 1986 Karen moved into the first premises in Pontefract. The salon has been in various locations over the years until 2011 when Karen purchased the property on 12 Love Lane, Pontefract and renovated it into the beautiful salon that it is today. You can relax and unwind whether it be a relaxing facial or a sumptuous massage. After 10 years of working in the salon alone Karen employed Gaynor Edwards as a trainee therapist and after 2 years of training Gaynor was taken on as a full time therapis and still works alongside Karen to this day since she qualified in 1997.
