Born and educated in Glasgow's East end, Lorna's career spans 30 years, initially qualifying in 1981 with her first degree in Physical education from the Dunfermline college of P.E. Lorna retrained as a physiotherapist at Queens College in Glasgow, qualifying in 1992 with a B.Sc. (Dist) in Physiotherapy. After starting her own business with a physiotherapy home visiting service Lorna established the Birchtree Clinic in 1998.

After starting her own business with a physiotherapy home visiting service Lorna established the Birchtree Clinic in 1998. Lorna is known for her gregarious enthusiasm and friendly manner to her patients.
Lorna has a very strong commitment to those with injuries and disabilities. Her other interests include being a keen gardener, painting botanical flowers in watercolours, and stone sculpting. Lynda graduated from the Grampian School of Physiotherapy, Aberdeen in 1988. Lynda worked within the NHS for 10 years before moving to private practice at the Birchtree Clinic where Lynda has been since 1999.
